In December 2012, the inaugural Australian Custom Bicycle Show was held in Melbourne. Hosted by FYXO, the Show was a resounding success, bringing together the cream of Aussie frame builders and craftspeople. It will be a little over a year before the next edition, January 24-26 2014, to coincide with the 2014 Santos Tour Down Under.
January 24-26 is the Australia Day weekend, finalising a week of racing around the South Australian capital of Adelaide. With the ACBS being held in Adelaide on that weekend, it’s shaping up to be a massive couple of days of pro cycling and perfectly preened pushies.
