Today is a special day for Cycle EXIF: I’m proud to welcome Tokyo Fixed as our new site sponsor. Their support will keep the fires beneath our servers stoked and our musettes filled.

Tokyo Fixed started life 5 years ago as an online store in Tokyo. They have since opened a shop front in London’s Soho, which continues to grow into the city’s primary source for quality cycling parts and accessories. They specialize in everything fixed, including rare Keirin frames and classic Italians. They aren’t limited by the fixed gear scene, however, they also have an extensive collection of classic road frames and components, and are more than happy to build to up your dream bike. Take a browse through the Shop Build set on their flickr for inspiration.

You may recognize some of the collaborations that Tokyo Fixed have been involved with. Feather Cycles and Death Spray Custom are regular conspirators, the bike they created for the Nike Tied Together project was an amazing machine, based on Akira’s motorcycle. Be sure to keep an eye out for more exciting builds, I’m looking forward to featuring them on Cycle EXIF.

Whether it’s apparel, bags, parts or a complete build, you’ll be able to find what you need at Tokyo Fixed. Check out their web shop here, and keep an eye on the blog for news and updates.

The Cycle EXIF Bicycle Calendar 2011 is now live and available for purchase. It features 13 of our most beautiful and popular bicycles from 2010. We’ve got Prolly’s Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra, Zodiac Engineering’s Terrible One, Townsend Cycles Grass Track Racer, Fast Boy Cycles Dingle Speed, Kinfolk’s Autumn and the best from Hufnagel, Seth Rosko, Horse Cycles and Deus CYCLEWORKS.

All the images have been taken by professional and exceptional photographers including Sasha Eysymontt, Joshua Hoffman, Alexander Soria, Paul Reynolds, Tristan Cardew, Grant Ray and Blaine Davis. The design is easy to read and understated with elegant typography.
