For A Good Cause: Chumba URSA Major Backcountry Auction

The Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show℠ and Conference is currently in residence at the Sands Expo Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada. There’ll be plenty of guns to wonder at but the exhibitor we’d be heading straight to is Multicam®.

The camouflage designers have joined forces with Texan frame maker Chumba and Virginia’s Wanderlust bags on a special edition URSA Major Backcountry, which will be auctioned off to benefit special operations charities.

Camouflage, as it turns out, is big business, and Multicam® is on top of the game. A vast amount of research and development has gone into their highly effective patterns, which cater for Alpine, Arid, Tropic and Black situations.

They aren’t strangers to collaboration, either, having partnered with numerous brands and personalities on various projects, ranging from Baja 100 motocross bikes, helicopters and Porsche GT3 racing teams to wing suits and flip flops.

Wanderlust bags are made in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and they created a full suite of bags specifically for the Multicam Chumba: a Divide Custom Frame Bag, Shenandoah Seat Bag, Sawtooth Handlebar Bag System and a couple of Rattlesnake Stem Bags.

Chumba shouldn’t need any introduction, as they have manufacturing frames for over 20 years, most recently with their back country and fat bike frames. The URSA Major Backcountry was designed for the most serious of conditions and it, like their entire range, is US-made from US tubing.

If you’re heading to the SHOT Show® in Vegas this week (19–22 January, 2016), be sure to drop by Multicam® at booth #32403, to place a bid in the auction.
