Cicli Spirito is not a shop. It’s even more than a workshop. It’s more a place to congregate and celebrate cycling culture, and hang out with Ben Kamenjas, a man with a guru-like knowledge of bicycle mechanics and self-confessed Italophile. Finally, Ben has released the Cicli Spirito kit, so fans can now fly the colours on the road.
The Cicli Spirito kit is now available for pre-order, but you’d better be quick — the cutoff date is this Friday. It’s made by Cuore which, I can testify, make some of the most comfortable riding apparel that you’ll ever wear. Women’s versions are available too.
The design is emblazoned with fleurs-de-lis — a reference to the coat of arms of Florence. The leg, sleeve and body length can be customised, and once your order is in, you’ll be wearing it in the second week of December — just in time for the holidays.
