I think you might find that a set of drop bars on that TT frame might exceed most human beings realms of flexibility. I’ll be honest, narrow risers aren’t really my cup of tea either and think it would look better with period correct TT bars but then I don’t have to ride it every day and this is a work bike.

Seriously though, you don’t know if the owner is a hipster and if you rolled up next to this bike at the lights you would probably be admiring the frame as opposed to pushing the owner off the bike.

I agree with guest. I think the guy is a hipster fool and I would push him off his bike.

It may as well be ridden, though, and drop bars or cowhorns are not what you want if you wish to maintain control over a frame like this in traffic. The chosen solution is in fact the correct solution, just as it was for Mobius’s somewhat similar build of the Yamaguchi trial bike featured here a couple of months ago.
