Alan Tansey already had in his possession an Eddy Merckx pista frame, immaculately built up with a Suntour Superbe group set, it was only natural that he sought out a Merckx road bike to accompany it. He acquired a Team Panasonic Corsa Extra SLX, and a perfect set of 1993 Dura-Ace components to grace it. Quite the good looking couple, aren’t they?     I am weeping, it is so beautiful. The only change I’d make is to ditch the skanky brifters and put on Shimano L422 DT shifters.
