Every once in a while a bike turns up that ticks all of my boxes, and the work by Ricky Feather is usually guaranteed to do so. But when it’s a classic strada with a subtle scheme of antique white, chrome, Campagnolo and leather, it’ll really make my eyes pop out of my head.
Ricky has been busy making himself known around the bespoke British bicycle scene, he made an appearance at the UK Handmade Bicycle Show 2011 and walked away with The Brooks Best Track Bike Award and third place in the people’s choice. Geoff’s classic road bike was on public display for the first time, creating a great debut for Geoff to take possession of his new ride. I’ll wager Geoff’s smile provided just as much satisfaction for Ricky than any trophy.
