FYXO Fauxnago V2.0

FYXO Fauxnago V2.0

The Melburn Roobaix, now in its ninth year, is shaping up to be the biggest yet. The limited spaces have already sold out, so the 29th of June 2014 will see a maximum number of cyclists traversing the cobbled laneways of Australia’s cycling capital, Melbourne. One of the prizes up for grabs is this extremely rare Fauxnago — Master of Skids.

Built up by Andrew ‘FYXO’ White, organiser and instigator of the Melburn Roobaix, the Master of Skids is the second in a line of Fauxnago models, the first being the equally rad Super Commuter. Featuring a paint job applied by Sun Graphics, custom decals, a “faux SHAMAL” wheelset and a Campy / FYXO drivetrain, it’s as though the Roobaix came to life as a bike and rode among us.

Any resident of Victoria is eligible to win a Master of Skids in the winners’ size — not just Roobaixers. Presented by the Bank of Melbourne, all you need to do is visit this link and enter your details. The BoM will be at Brunswick Velodrome for the draw after the end of the Roobaix. Head to FYXO for more details about the competition and Melburn Roobaix.
