Ask a chef what he eats when he’s at home and you’ll hear all sorts of stories about beans on toast and crisp sandwiches. The personal ride of Jordan Hufnagel, in comparison, is this superb 10-speed cyclocross rig, liveried in Jordan’s favorite shade of aqua.
While it’s not one of his latest builds, it’s one of my favorites. There are some clean details here that only reveal themselves upon closer inspection, like the seat tube sleeve and internal cable routing through the seat stay. Jordan created a custom, matching stem and tapered the diameter of the top tube from 32mm at the head tube to 29mm at the seat tube for a sleek profile.
