No, with forge brazing you have to get the whole assembly that hot. They’re using brass, obviously, and it’s not heat-treated tubing. A couple million old Raleighs can’t be wrong…

“Built specifically with local conditions in mind”? For me, that means it should at least have fender eyelets. It’s a good-looking bike, but the lack of rain protection makes it useless for a significant number of days in the UK. By the way, I have their Roadster model, and it’s great (as long as you’re not in a hurry to go uphill.)

Um… Forge brazing, ok… but someone more in the loop regarding framebuilding — isn’t that BB assembly being heated a bit much…? Luv the Guvnor, love the S/A hubs, just wondering about that particular construction detail…

It is a very attractive bike, the set is aesthetically successful, classic-looking, without diminishing agility and dynamism. Maybe the brake levers and cranks seem foreign in the set, but the colors will always be debatable.
Could be a brown similar to Brooks on the frame, and a white outer cableset.
