Pony Bikes Tricycle

Hang on to your wooden balance bikes: Sasha from Melbourne’s Pony Bikes has just concocted what could be the coolest kid’s tricycle ever. A local customer, Kurt, contracted the Pony Bikes workshop to resurrect his own trike, which happens to be over 40 years old, for his son to enjoy as much as he did.

Sasha now has extensive experience in working with her customers to achieve their dream bikes, but Kurt’s tricycle posed numerous challenges. The frame was completely stripped, right down to the solid wheels, and given a fresh powder coated base. The blank canvas was then handed to one of Sasha’s previous collaborators, TJ the pin striper, an original Melbourne artisan. TJ didn’t hold back and lavished the entire frame with his talents, including the rims. Kurt’s son is now the proud owner of a trike that’s nearly too hot for the streets of Melbourne.
