Commuter bicycles, classic bicycles and custom bicycles

Sweden’s Urban Cycles specialize in reconditioning forgotten frames into single speed and fixed gear bicycles, but I was particularly taken by their Black Porteur. It started life as a Tange-tubed frame which was stripped, painted and dressed up with a selection of Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Miche and Mavic components. A Gamoh King Carrier was added to the front, and upholstered with a Brooks saddle and bar tape, the generic frame has been transformed into the bespoke black suit of bicycles.
