Vanilla Bicycles Disc Tourer

Vanilla Cycles Disc Tourer

Two prominent notaries of the cycling world came together for this build, photographer Sasha Eysymontt and Sascha White of Portland’s Vanilla Bicycles. Eysymontt is a connoisseur of fine bicycles, but has a self-proclaimed passion for frames built by Nagasawa. This exceptional creation by Sascha White exhibits all of the qualities that make a Vanilla Bicycle so desirable, and is a world-class touring machine. Another indicator of a renewed interest in bicycle touring as an accessible pastime? We certainly hope so.

could job not putting those ugly, upward curving “touring drops” on this bike. those things really ruin a bike for me.

It would be interesting to see the rear brake in a little more detail to learn how all the rack and fender stays keep out of the way of the caliper.

Also, seems that the front brake cable routing is going to limit steering lock to the left.  At the least its going to bugger the paint on the down tube after a few hard left turns..
