Vendetta Cycles Black Fire

Vendetta Cycles Shaw's Road

The latest creation from Oregon’s Vendetta Cycles certainly strikes an intimidating pose, it looks like it’s about to rear up and start spitting molten steel. The ‘Black Fire’ road frame is a serious mile muncher and is also one of the finest looking machines to bear the Winged V headbadge.

The matte grey shades of the Dura Ace groupset provide a stark contrast to what must be one of the most intense coats of paint I’ve seen recently. Look closely and you’ll see a red metal flake that gives this dragon such a sheen. It’s actually a black base with a red ice pearl over the top, and if the hot rod paint is the dragon’s skin then the polished stainless steel lugs are the teeth. Vendetta’s duo of Conor Buescher and Garrett Clark have produced a machine that looks ready to really burn up the road. Special thanks to Conor for the photography–see more on the Vendetta Cycles Flickr stream.
