Winter Bicycles Thin Iggy

Winter Bicycle’s Eric Estlund has had, so far, a very busy year. Aside from building numerous frames, there’s been the NAHBS in March and more recently, the trip to the UK for the Bespoked Bristol show — for which he won a rosette for Best Randonneur / Touring bike. Then there was a ‘Stem-a-thon‘. In-between it all he found the time to build himself Thin Iggy — a new road frame for the summer.

Anthony Berano took these photos of the build, which consists of both Dedacciai and True Temper tubes. The classic diameter is a throwback to the days when ‘hi-viz’ hues and mottled metallics were commonplace — so the finish that Eric has used on Thin Iggy is appropriate. See more of Eric’s work on the Winter Bicycles website, which includes the Shimano Di2-equipped Destrier road bike.

Spot on, @disqus_tHV1shFrgk:disqus . @cc344d18326724ca848b1e592e047a18:disqus , Eric tells me they’re “the new Resist 28 Nomads (the 35′s fit, too). The bike has plenty of room for fenders come the rainy season.”
