Yasujiro Nudity

Although Japan’s Tange International Co. has been through its share of ups and downs over a 90-year history, they still continue to manufacture high quality tubing, a credit to the management and products. Their range now includes a series of frame, branded Yasujiro, after the name of the company’s founder, Yasujiro Tange.

This is the prettiest of the three frames offered, appropriately named the Nudity. Both frame and forks are built from Tange Prestige and show off the anodizing caused by its construction and the fillets that hold it all together. This example was built up by the Bicycle Store in Paris, with a full complement of Tange’s stem, seat post and bars, with Araya rims, Suzue Pro Max hubs and a Sugino crankset.

Special thanks to C-reel for the photos. See more on the Bicycle Store Paris website.

Holy crap how do they braze like that?

      Yeah, those look perfect.

I imagine that the fillets were all sanded to that shape, then clean up the entire frame, and then re-heat all the fillets to “replace” the colour. But I dunno, that’s just a guess.

I’ll second your reckoning. Superfluous, but it does look brilliant.
