Biascagne Cicli Forgood 2013

Biascagne Cicli Forgood 2013

Treviso’s Biascagne Cicli never fail to impress, with their modern restorations of vintage frames. They put them to good use, too. This is the fourth edition of their ‘Forgood’ series: collaborative project bikes that are sold at auction to raise funds for a nominated charity.

Biascagne Cicli worked with calligrapher and illustrator Francesca Biasetton, along with a number of contributors: Campagnolo donated the Record track crank and headset, the saddle came from Brooks, Ambrosio supplied custom black Excursion rims, and Gipiemme brought the hubs.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle provided the quote: “When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope seems hardly worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.”

Words to live by, fluidly applied by Francesca. Forgood 2013 is now for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to ‘One Heart One World‘, a program established by the Cardiac Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology hospital in Padova, which will help children with heart disease.

The price is a very reasonable €1,350, plus €35 shipping to Italy. Worldwide delivery is also available. Email Biascagne Cicli for good karma.
