The latest addition to Paul Components’ range of anodized accessories is their own interpretation of the dropper trigger and, as you’d expect from the Chico locals, it’s a vast improvement on any other trigger on the market.

Paul’s research team spent a year prototyping in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and the resulting feature list is basically everything you’d expect from a Chico trigger. Dual-stacked sealed cartridge bearings in the pivot for zero slop and serviceability, for a start.

The design allows the cable entry to come from either direction, a hinged clamp means you don’t have to remove the grip to install, and a barrel adjuster eliminates cable slack. Neat. Naturally, it’s machined from American 6061 Aluminum.
