Salsa seem intent on manufacturing bikes that enable riders to truly live their slogan, ‘Adventure by Bike’; the Fargo is another model in a range of machines built to take on multi-mile treks through the wilderness. This one ain’t stock, however. Matthew Mead can be found photographing weddings during the day, and he’s built this Fargo up as a custom tourer that reflects his appreciation for a pleasing composition.
Inspired to have longer adventures on his Fargo, Matthew gently upgraded various components to improve reliability and aesthetics. A touch of Chris King here, a tubeless wheel set from Greg at TWE there, and an SRAM groupset will provide miles of comfortable touring with all the modern refinements.
