Vendetta Cycles Ice Baby

There’s been a spate of gorgeous road bikes on The Spoken lately, which could have something to do with the Tour de France, currently in its 99th circulation. Stage 10, from Mâcon to Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, featured a brutal climb over the inimitable, hors catégorie Col du Grand Colombier. The latest bike from Oregon’s Vendetta Cycles, Ice Baby, would be a perfect vehicle to tackle the peak.

Ice Baby is constructed from oversize Columbus tubes and a set of Cadenzia lugs — designed for XL tubing by two master frame builders, the Italian Dario Pegoretti and Australia’s own Darrell Llewellyn McCulloch. The Campagnolo Chorus gruppo and reassuring ratchet of the Chris King hubs will provide a small comfort when faced with a challenging summit. See more on the Vendetta Cycles website.
