Vendetta Cycles Townie

The behemoth that is NAHBS draws ever nearer, to the dismay of the exhibitors who are furiously applying finishing touches to the bikes and products that are sure to dazzle us again this year. Here’s a sneak preview of one of the bikes that will be presented by Oregon’s Vendetta Cycles.

The team of Vendetta Cycles, Conor Buescher and Garrett Clark, are generating a reputation for elaborate frames and fancy lugwork, and this NAHBS entry is no exception. The lugs have been carved to resemble flames, accentuated by Eugene, Oregon pinstriper, Jim Carmickle. Jim is 70 and has been doing line work since he was 15 years old. This Vendetta is designed with function in mind as well as aesthetics – all cables are internally routed to preserve the clean lines. A dynamo hub powers the lights, while the rear light has been integrated into the custom rack. The rear hub is the proven internal 14-speed Rohloff unit. A brushed stainless logo graces the top of the custom fillet brazed stem, the final touch to a repertoire of fine fabrication, which includes curved seat stays which will guarantee a comfortable ride.

Start planning to make it to Sacramento in March for the NAHBS and in the meantime, make sure you keep up-to-date with the latest news from Vendetta Cycles by Liking their facebook page. Thanks to Conor Buescher for the scoop – check out more detail shots on the Vendetta Cycles website.
