Andrew Low has been making aluminium frames by hand in San Francisco since 2010, and have previously focused on track frames. LOW Bicycles’ offering has extended to include geared road frames, with the MK1.
The MK1, made with LOW’s proprietary 7005 FLEXshape alloy tubing, is a frame with racing at its heart. It’s stiff and responsive, as only an aluminium frame can be, and most importantly, it’s completely made by hand in the USA.
The frameset starting price is US$2450, with complete bikes priced at US$4300. Head to the LOW Bicycles website to read more about the firm’s history and the high quality of their manufacturing.
