Report: Italian Cyclocross

Raffaele Paolucci normally prefers his two wheels with an engine in between them, but will gladly take beautiful photos of motorcycles and bicycles. His work has been featured in magazines such as Cafè Racer Italia, Stay True and Sideburn Magazine. He publishes his work on his own Streetracker blog and recently went along to document the highly passionate Italian cyclocross scene. Here’s an excerpt, but for the full show, head over to Streetracker.

Yeah, pics of guys pushing bikes up a hill are especially thrilling. Ugh.

The man really does capture the very essence and nitty gritty of the sport .. doesn’t he ! Personally I find his cyclecross photos to be vastly superior than the so called cycling ‘ specialists ‘ photo’s . Thanks for the introduction .

I have to disagree. These shots are lovely to look at. But I don’t feel like they’re giving a great sense of the moment. A little too tightly cropped, with too many blurred elements pulling focus in the wrong areas.
