Jeff Curtes just dropped in to see Zak at Skunkworks Bikes and photographed one of the new Speedvagen Ghost/Matte Army race frames in the stand. The finish is an option for the 2015 range, and if you’re in Sydney, you’ll have a chance to see them in person.
Here’s an update from the Rapha Cycle Club Sydney: From 24th August – 30th August, Sacha White and The Vanilla Workshop will be conducting pre-appointed bike fits* at the Rapha Cycle Club Sydney as part of their global Speedvagen Fit Tour. On Saturday morning we invite you to join us for a Speedvagen + RCC ride, and in the evening for a social gathering.
Speedvagen + RCC Ride
Join Sacha White and the Vanilla Workshop team on a scenic North route. The ride will go up the Pacific Highway to Bobbin Head north where we will descend into Bobbin and climb back out. We will then ride over to McCarrs Creek Road and descend all the way down to Church Point and follow the scenic Northern beaches back through the city to the cycle club.
Meet: 6:00am at the Cycle Club for pre-ride espressos and to grab your Good Fuel Co bar.
Pace: a variety of groups based on ability and speed depending on numbers in the morning.
Register for the ride here.
Speedvagen Fit Tour Down Under Social Gathering
Join us for a social evening to meet and mingle with Sacha White and the Vanilla Workshop team. On the night you can learn more about Speedvagen’s bike fit process and catch a glimpse of a fleet of their best bikes. Mark Jensen, RCCSYD member and Speedvagen owner, will be catering for the evening with a selection of the best of his group’s food and craft beer.
Meet: from 6:30pm at the Cycle Club.
