Vendetta Cycles Green Hornet

Vendetta Cycles Green Hornet

One collaborative team who will be making a big splash at this years NAHBS is that of Vendetta Cycles, the partnership of Garrett Clark and Conor Buescher. They’ve been working together since 2004, producing a dazzling portfolio. This is their Green Hornet: humbly described as a city bike.

Vendetta Cycles often feature custom lug work, and the Green Hornet is no exception. Here, they’re not only hand-carved, but also high polished. It’s been built up with matching green Phil Wood hubs and Brooks leather. Paul Components supply the brake calipers and levers. Vendetta Cycles also have an extensive gallery of women’s specific frames, a refreshing addition to the de rigueur track and road showcase of most builders.

An interesting inclusion to the website of Vendetta Cycles is their dissertation on engineering and metallurgy. Very useful for a potential customer about to fork out a few thousand dollars for a handmade frame, it goes a long way to dispel the mystery of their ‘dark art’. Read about it for yourself on the Vendetta Cycles website, and, while you’re there, browse through their impressive gallery of previous builds.

Veeeery nice. What kind of bars are those? Looks like a nitto albatross bar, but the straight section has an angle instead of sweeping straight back . . .

Can you put a pic of the WHOLE bike?

    That is stunningly beautiful.
